Group Managing Director
Dr. Bay is the group managing director of Exal. He is an experienced property developer and is heavily involved at the front end feasibility of development projects, development finance structuring, and is well versed in construction.
His training as a professional engineer allows him to analyse projects based on its technical merits. He won the Business News 40 under 40 in 2022, 2012 WA Young Engineer of the Year and author of award winning international journal papers in civil engineering.
Albert Ko

Managing Director - Malaysia
Albert is a successful developer and property expert in his own right. He leads the strategic development of the company and is primarily involved with the sales and project marketing of our developments.
Albert's ability to critically assess market trends has seen him being invited as a speaker at various property events in Malaysia and was featured in Malaysia's leading business newspaper.
EXAL CONSTRUCTION LEADERSHIP
Leonard is a highly experienced construction professional having held leadership roles over the last 25 years where he has led teams of more than 250 people. With a meticulous focus on quality and safety, he has a proven track record of completing complex projects throughout Australia and globally on time and within budget. As the construction manager at Exal, Leonard is key in playing a leadership role by guiding the team towards a common goal while developing key strategies to efficiently and safely deliver our projects.

James bring a wealth of experience and proven track record as a seasoned commercial manager to Exal. He has a strategic blend of financial acumen, project oversight and construction process flows which allows him to provide a pivotal support to the team for managing budgets, contracts, and procurement. He is dedicated to optimising outcomes of the team while instilling strong governance through appropriate processes. He also takes on a secondary role as a project lead for key projects within Exal.

Finance Director
Yvonne is Exal's finance director and is involved with the tax compliance, accounting, cashflow planning, and financial reporting for the group. Coming from a background in property development and construction means she understands the intricacies of the business.
She has completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Shipping and Logistic Management, a Masters of Logistics and Strategic Procurement Management and a Master of Accounting.

Operations Director
Joyce is a trained legal practitioner with experience in litigation and contracts. She has been called to the England and Malaysia bar. She stepped into the property industry over a decade ago as a legal adviser focusing on contracts, complimenting her current role for Exal.
Joyce is involved with all aspects of the development and construction operations to ensure stakeholders expectations are met.
